OMMO Ads Privacy Policy

How OMMO Ads collects, uses, and protects information. Written to be actually read, not stockpiled as legal text.

Who we are

OMMO Ads is a product of OMMO Group Company, a Delaware C Corporation (file 10600609). OMMO Group Company handles personal data as described in this policy.

What we collect

Account information (name, email, role), workspace metadata (workspace name, connected sources), the data your connected sources make available to us, the IP address and browser details of requests, what you tell us in demo and contact forms, and error reports. We do not sell, rent, or share customer data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Connected sources & the data we read

When you connect a source, OMMO accesses only the data needed to build your analytics. It only reads that data and never modifies your store, products, orders, campaigns, or content. By platform: Salla, Zid, Shopify and other stores — orders and customers (for sales, AOV, ROAS, and customer/city insights); Google (Analytics, Ads, YouTube) — Analytics reports, Google Ads campaign performance, and YouTube channel metrics; Meta, Snapchat, TikTok — ad spend and performance; Aramex, SMSA and other carriers — shipment status. OMMO only reads from connected platforms. Shopify and Google Analytics connect with read-only permissions. Other platforms, including Salla, Zid, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and Snapchat, can grant broader permissions when you connect; OMMO uses them only to read. When you disconnect a source in the app, or uninstall OMMO from Salla or Zid, OMMO deletes its stored credentials and stops syncing it.

Google API Limited Use

OMMO's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to display your own analytics inside OMMO; it is never sold, transferred to third parties, or used for advertising, and is not used to train generalized AI/ML models.

How we use it

To run OMMO Ads, present your dashboards and reports, show in-app alerts about your connections, support your account, and protect every account from unauthorized access. OMMO staff can open your workspace in a read-only view to support onboarding and answer your requests. Cookies keep you signed in and remember your language and theme. With your consent, our public pages also use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity to measure visits.

Where it lives

Our application servers run at Hetzner in Nuremberg, Germany. Your data is stored in a Postgres database run by Neon on AWS in Frankfurt, Germany. Until we retire it, a backup copy from our previous hosting is held by Neon in the United States (Virginia). Neon encrypts the database at rest. The credentials you give us for your store and ad accounts are also encrypted with AES-256-GCM, using a key unique to your workspace. We also use service providers that process limited data for us, some of them outside Germany, including in the United States: Cloudflare (network and TLS for ommoco.com), Sentry (error monitoring), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (card payments), Google (demo scheduling) and, with your consent on our public pages, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, export, and objection — exercised by emailing privacy@ommoco.com from the email associated with your account. We complete requests within 30 days. In the app you can download any page as CSV, and owners and admins can export the latest 5,000 activity-log entries.
